Avoid bulky pockets by storing sunglasses, wallets, and keys in a purse or bag nearby. You can also ask your photographer (me) to hold your things. ( As your photographer, I am happy to help!) You've spent so much time planning such a wonderful surprise for your future fiance you don't want to miss their reaction if they have sunglasses on.
3. always have a backup plan
Texas is ... well - Texas! The weather can oftentimes be unpredictable. So be sure to chat with your photographer on an alternative plan if you are in Texas or any location that has unpredictable weather. It is also imperative to have an alternative plan in case the location of your choosing just doesn't work out at the last minute.
4. What to wear
Avoid wearing patterns like stripes or polyester material. Opt for neutral colors such as beige, navy, black, grey, cream, ivory, or tan. These colors photograph well and can greatly enhance your images!
5. Consider the time of day
When planning your special occasion, it's crucial to consider the time of day. Collaborate with your photographer to select the perfect timing for your event. Soft, even lighting is essential for stunning portraits. Cloudy days can provide a natural softbox effect, creating a beautiful, gentle glow in your photos. If it's too sunny, ensure your photographer is skilled in handling bright light. For the best results, aim for a time slot one hour before sunrise or one hour before sunset. The sun can work wonders during these magical hours.
6. Consider the location and setup
