I love, love! Celebrating love is what makes surprise proposals so fun to capture! The romantic settings, the moments leading up to the special day, and the planning behind the scenes are all so inspiring. I recently captured Salvatore and Ally's Suprise Proposal at the Reunion Tower in Dallas, Texas. And I am head over heels for their proposal!
Salvatore and Ally each graduated with their master's degree on the weekend of May 17th, which made it the perfect weekend for a surprise proposal! Their families were in town to celebrate their academic achievement and to everyone's surprise Ally and Salvatore's engagement too!
On the lovely evening of May 17th, Salvatore surprised Ally with a romantic surprise proposal at the Reunion Tower's Geo-Deck. The couple was escorted to the Geo-Deck in a private elevator ride where they would arrive at a Marry Me sign decorated with rose petals, cider, champagne glasses, and delicious chocolates.
Salvatore, dressed in a blue suit, perfect for the occasion, got down on one knee and asked for Ally to spend forever with him. Ally joyfully said, yes! There may have been other people around, but it was just Salvatore and Ally cherishing the moment together. Is it safe to say they were literally on cloud nine?!
Sunset at the Geo-Deck during Salvatore and Ally's proposal was so beautiful that evening. Following their proposal, we went out on the deck for a mini-engagement session. The views were spectacular and I just admire the city vibe of photographing at the Reunion Tower's Geo-Deck. The staff were great and made me feel welcomed, which is important for a photographer. And, most importantly, the staff appeared to be just as wonderful to the couple as well!
If you are planning a Reunion Tower proposal, I think this spot is incredible! And I highly recommend it. They have packages available on their website that you can choose from. As a photographer, I appreciate they have security present to help keep the area clear exclusively for the couple. So you won't have to worry about anyone jumping in for a selfie!
